What we collect
Your email and password, your birth details (date, time if you know it, and birth place), your onboarding answers, and the Schema and readings we build from them. If you use Big Questions, we keep the questions you submit and the answers you receive. If you search the Ask question bank and nothing matches, we keep the search text to decide which questions to add next; it is never used to generate content. If you set up a public profile, we keep your username and which sections you chose to publish. We also keep the technical basics that keep the product working and secure: IP address, device and usage data, subscription and billing status, support messages, error reports you choose to send (with your email only if you include it), a push notification subscription if you turn notifications on, and records of the consents you have given. Payment cards go straight to Stripe, our payment processor, and are never stored by us.
Why we collect it
Your birth details and answers exist for one purpose: to compute and personalize your Schema, run the age check, and save your progress. Account and contact data run authentication and transactional email. Billing data runs subscriptions and access control. Device and usage data runs product analytics and fraud prevention. Support messages let us help you. We do not sell or share your personal information.
Automated processing
Your Schema is generated by automated software from the details you provided. It is a personalized interpretation, not a factual forecast. Your Schema is generated for entertainment and reflection, not automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and you can request access, correction, or deletion of the data behind it at any time.
Human review of Big Questions
Big Question answers are prepared by automated software from your saved Schema and your question, then read and approved by a person before release. That review checks safety and grounding; the answer remains a perspective for reflection, not professional advice. Only the reviewer sees your question and the drafted answer, only for that review, and the review is logged so we can prove it happened.
Public profiles
A public profile exists only if you turn it on. While it is on, the sections you selected are visible to anyone with the link and may appear in search engines; your birth details, email, location, and timing data are never part of a public page. Turning the profile off removes the page. Share cards work the same way: only the content you chose to share is in the image.
Cookies and device storage
We use only the cookies the product needs to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and an anonymous session cookie that saves your onboarding progress before you create an account. We also use your browser's local storage for small on-device preferences, such as which question you selected. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other sites.
Who processes your data
We use a small set of service providers to run SchemaSeek: a cloud hosting and database provider that stores account data, a payment processor (Stripe) for billing, an analytics provider for product usage, an email provider for transactional email, and a helpdesk for support messages. Each processes your data only on our instructions to provide their service, and none of them may use it for their own purposes. We do not sell or share personal information with anyone.
Where your data lives
SchemaSeek is operated from the United States and your data is stored and processed in the United States under US law. You are welcome to use the service from anywhere, and by doing so you understand that the details you provide are transferred to and handled in the US as this policy describes.
Anonymous sessions
Answers you give before creating an account are stored against an anonymous session so you can save and resume. If you do not finish, that session is hard-deleted after 30 days of inactivity. If you are under 18, the session ends immediately: your birth details are deleted inline and the flagged session is hard-deleted within 24 hours.
Retention
We keep account data, birth details, and your Schema for the life of your account, and hard-delete them within 30 days of a deletion request. Consent records are kept for 3 years, or 1 year past account termination, whichever is later, since they are our proof of what you agreed to. Security and fraud logs are purged at 12 months, and analytics at 14 months. Stripe retains a minimal transaction record after deletion, as tax and financial-record law requires. Support and refund requests you send us through the support form are also kept: if you delete your account we unlink the request from it, but the message you wrote and the email address you gave us stay until we delete them by hand, because a refund is a financial record we may have to account for later.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time from your account or by contacting us; we verify who is asking before we act. Access and export requests return your account data, birth details, Schema, and answers within 45 days, extendable once by 45 more. Correction of birth details re-runs your Schema automatically. We honor Global Privacy Control signals, and we do not sell or share personal information: see Do Not Sell or Share, below.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
SchemaSeek does not sell or share your personal information, and never has. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal automatically, with no email required. If you want that confirmed in writing, or you want to exercise a California, Colorado, or similar state privacy right directly, email support@schemaseek.com and we will confirm in reply.
